The Legal and Administrative Dimension of Business Creation

Sole proprietorship? Self-employed? SAS (Société par Actions Simplifiée)? EURL (Entreprise Unipersonnelle à Responsabilité Limitée)? Choosing the legal status of your business can be a puzzle. In this module, we will help you identify different legal statuses, understand the status of the manager, and grasp the fiscal regime of the business.

Accounting and Financial Management in the Creation Phase

This module is introduced by the financial logic in business, covering the needs of the operating cycle, revenue, variable costs, and fixed costs. We will then explain how to understand financial documents so that you can produce a financial statement and an income statement.

Articulating the Purpose and Values in a New Business

What is a (good) purpose in alignment with my values? What does it serve for me, my team, and my business? How do I establish and then share it? This module first addresses each of these questions, clarifying the terms and prompting you to delve into self-discovery. Finally, through interaction, you will familiarize yourself with two methods of articulating the purpose, easy to implement. The first is individual, and the second is collective.

Facing the Realities of Today's World

Frédéric Laloux’s revolutionary book, “Reinventing Organizations,” outlines the principles of Teal organizations: self-organization, integrity, and a focus on their purpose. To move in this direction, there are cultural prerequisites that need to be cultivated in your organization, such as transparency, trust, autonomy, and responsibility. While all of this may seem abstract at first, we will explore some organizational theories and discuss how you can assess the developmental level of your own organization to find the methods, models, and tools that align with the transformation steps you want to initiate.

Leading Effective Meetings

Experience a new team meeting format, “Monday Morning,” using a serious game. Immerse yourself in a shared governance triage meeting, taking on assigned roles and experiencing it from the inside. Discover the effectiveness of the process and leave with tools that you can immediately apply in your upcoming meetings.

Prioritizing with OKRs

OKRs provide a framework for reflection and offer a collective practice aimed at focusing efforts on measurable and adjustable achievements. They enable alignment with the purpose of the company. Discover the OKR system (Objectives and Key Results) initiated by Intel, popularized by Google, and begin to make them your own in your context to implement best practices from the inception of your business.

The Art of Feedback

Discover or rediscover why and how feedback can be a powerful tool for personal and collective effectiveness. Understand the right approach, both for giving and receiving feedback, and practice with participants in simple situations. A key to healthy relational dynamics in organizations, the art of feedback is learned and practiced daily.

Decision-Making

Making decisions remains fundamental and essential in a business as well as in any organization. Without decisions, nothing is possible. They say that to choose is to renounce? In this session, we propose to take the bet that choosing is also experimenting and giving oneself the opportunity to be more agile in decision-making.
