The client's request
With a new CEO taking up the post, the leadership team wanted to hold a seminar aimed at strengthening team cohesion, integrating new members and defining a shared vision for the executive committee.
BPCE wanted a collaborative seminar where the objectives are co-built with all the members of the executive committee, to ensure greater buy-in.
The team faced an important challenge in integrating the new members of the executive committee and building a solid foundation of relationships between the longstanding members and with these newcomers.
Our response
Ahead of the seminar, we carried out two diagnoses. The first aimed to measure team performance through a questionnaire, a team diagnostic tool.
The second aimed to establish the individual profiles of the members.
We started the seminar with a collective debrief of the team-performance questionnaire results, making it possible to discuss the team's complementarities and challenges. We identified the committee's current strengths and ways to improve. This debrief could be consolidated thanks to the prior analysis of the individual profiles.
In a second phase, we set up workshops tailored to the elements gathered in the first phase, so that the team could work on the areas for improvement it had itself identified, and in the way it judged most relevant.
We punctuated this seminar with informal exchange moments to foster group cohesion.
Result
The collaborative seminar enabled the Groupe BPCE executive committee to strengthen its cohesion and effectively integrate new members. This approach led to a shared vision aligned with the group's strategic challenges, fostering solid governance.
