CNAS

Structuring managerial skills through the 360° and the personal development plan

Social action / public serviceSaint-Denis42K employees

The client's request

CNAS's management observes that the success of its organisation's transformation rests on all of its 43 managers.

It asks us to set up a system to establish a common base of managerial skills and to draw up, for each manager, a personal development plan based on a 360° managerial diagnosis.

Our response

As CNAS and its staff have only limited experience of 360° tools, we carefully prepare the communication on this approach with the client.

We then launch the 360° campaign. In under a month, 95% of the questionnaires are completed.

The phase of feeding back the 360° results to the managers then begins, through interviews conducted by a consultant whose deliverable is a first version of the personal development plans.

These interviews are followed a few days later by a video conference bringing together the assessed manager, their line manager and the consultant, whose goal is to validate or amend the personal development plan.

These validated personal development plans are sent to HR and their analysis leads to:

  • The organisation of a management training of 2 times 2 days for CNAS's new managers
  • The setting up of one-day “à la carte” thematic workshops according to the needs of the managers targeted in their personal development plans.
  • The setting up, for some managers, of specific training or individual coaching.

Result

CNAS established a common base of managerial skills through a structured approach of 360° diagnoses and targeted training. The individual development plans strengthened the managers' posture, thus ensuring the success of the organisation's transformation.
