Luc is 55 years old. He originally trained in management, and his professional background since then has centered on the creation of several small businesses — starting out in product sales, before moving into business-to-business services. Deeply convinced, and highly sensitive to the scale of the societal challenges we now have to address, he joined Decathlon in 2019 to work on innovation and on diversifying the business toward more sustainable models. Working in that role, he identified the opportunity for, and went on to develop, the We Play Circular project.
