Christian Bruere is president of Mob-ion, a manufacturer and supplier of connected electronics with programmed longevity. He is one of the founding partners of Allo Resto, which became Just Eat, and has long been passionate about two-wheeled vehicles and environmental issues. His initial exposure to electromobility came through his work at Allo Resto in the early 2000s; in 2014, he partnered with a friend operating a motorcycle dealership to move into electric vehicles, and — facing high prices for electric vehicles at the time — the two adopted a functional economy and cooperation model, creating an electric scooter rental company for restaurants offering rapid delivery services. When those scooters proved inadequate for their intended purpose, due to high repair costs and a limited lifespan, Bruere decided to focus on programmed longevity and to establish himself as a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers.
